The Return2Run package helps you return to running responsibly and with confidence. Through an advanced biomechanical screening using OnTracx, we map your individual load and injury risk. Based on this assessment, you receive personalised return-to-run guidance, tailored to your training load, load capacity, and the type of injury (if you have recently rehabilitated from an overuse injury).
We start as soon as a healthcare professional considers you ready to run, or once you are completely symptom-free. This package is ideal for runners who want to rebuild after an injury, with a strong focus on injury prevention, load management, and long-term consistency.

What can you expect?

During a treadmill running test, we use OnTracx to measure your mechanical load at different running speeds. You gain clear insight into your load zones, key left–right asymmetries, your injury risk and how speed influences your running load. This allows us to accurately estimate the expected load of your training sessions and to personalise your progression according to your load tolerance.
The result is a personalised return-to-run training plan that is not based on generic guidelines, but on your individual running data. After the screening, you receive a clear and structured report with concrete points of attention, explained by one of our experienced coaches.
This way, you not only build load more intelligently, but also with confidence.

The solution lies in a personalised, data-driven approach in which both the effective load and individual load capacity are central. That is why we use an advanced biomechanical screening with OnTracx to map out your personal load profile.
The classic 10% rule — which states that you may increase your training volume by a maximum of 10% per week — sounds safe, but falls short as a strategy for injury prevention. It creates a false sense of security and focuses solely on training volume, while the actual injury risk is determined by the balance between running load and load capacity.
That load varies greatly from person to person, depending on factors such as running style, surface and individual resilience. As a result, a progression that appears “safe” on paper can still lead to overuse injuries.

Based on your biomechanical OnTracx screening, we create a personalised and progressive running plan, tailored to your load capacity, type of injury, previous running history and availability.
The goal is to return to your pre-injury level, or to consistently work towards a new sporting goal from your current fitness level. We gradually increase your running load using speeds that match what your body can tolerate. In this way, you train in a targeted manner and reduce the risk of relapse.

Via the app, you can track your progress at any time: you see whether your load aligns with the advice, how your pain evolves and how your overall load develops throughout the programme.
You also gain access to the OnTracx platform and app for ongoing follow‑up and monitoring of your running programme.
