Your body composition is analysed with a DEXA scan (type Lunar Prodigy). The standard for this type of measurement.
During the scan we measure:
- Fat percentage and fat mass for the whole body and by region
- Lean mass (as an indicator of muscle mass)
- Bone mass and bone density (an indicator of bone strength)
- Basal metabolic rate (how many calories your body needs at rest)
The DEXA scan also highlights any asymmetries between your left and right sides – for example, differences in muscle mass between your arms or legs.
After the scan, we take the time to review your results in detail, always in accordance with your personal goals.
